Findlay takes on national power and #6 ranked Rice HS out of New York in the finals of their holiday tournament. Follow the action inside the huddles and the bench as the Pilots try to apply their understanding of the game. The players talk academics and their juggling act as Coach Peck sits a player for coming up short in the classroom. These are a few deleted scenes from my documentary THE SEASON. I spent half the year with the Findlay College Prep Pilots on their way to the #1 ranking and ultimately the ESPN Rize Championship Game. Part 1 contains a few scenes that I initially wanted to include in the previous episodes, but had to cut for time. You'll see a few promotional clips with Issiah Grayson, shots of the team watching the first footage from the documentary and a special interview with some of the guys about the coach adding a new player.

"Conditioning". The Findlay Prep Pilots have reloaded their roster for another championship run. Led by Coach Michael Peck, the team out of Henderson, Nevada prepare for another long season with even tougher competition. Follow them throughout THE SEASON as they try to make history again to become champions again. EPISODE 1 finds the Pilots going through Coach Peck's rigorous conditioning program to start the season.

"Back To The Championship". In this episode we talk with Coach Mike Peck and the Findlay Pilots about what it's going to take to return to the national championship.

"Ring The Bell". In this episode of The Season we'll see highlights from the game against Impact Academy along with hearing the player’s thoughts on "Ringing The Bell".

In Episode #4, we see highlights from the game against New Jersey's Princeton Country Day. Cory Joseph led the Pilots with 34 points, 8 assists, 6 rebounds and 5 steals. His Canadian partner also dropped 30 points along with 15 rebounds and 5 blocks. But before the game started, a few of the Pilots noticed one of the basketball rims was making an odd noise.

Findlay College Prep is one of the most traveled high school programs in the country, logging in thousands of miles every weekend to play the top competition (primarily on the east coast). In this episode I talk with the guys about how they handle being a student athlete, what's important for the trip, and how they're feeling about competing in the Tournament Of Champions in Peoria, IL. We also check in on a game of NBA 2K9 with Winston and Jabari.

"Recruiting Enes Kanter" - Early in the season I sat down with Associate Head Coach Todd Simon to talk about the upcoming season, and I asked him if he could talk about the recruitment of phenom Enes Kanter from Turkey. He was originally slated to play at Findlay Prep this season but changed his mind. Enes is currently enrolled at Stoneridge Preparatory School in California with plans to attend the University of Kentucky in 2010.

"Classic Kicks" - The team from Nike ID came to help the Findlay Prep Pilots design their team shoe for the coming season. The guys were split in to two teams, each with an opportunity to design a shoe. Coach Michael Peck was the final judge.
